Isabel was involved in drama already during her school days. She took Drama classes at Queensland University of Technology in Queensland and, more recently, her own Perdekamp Emotional Method. She did not audition for the roles she was interested in until her agent discovered herself in the year 2002. She auditioned to play the role of Tasha on the show Home and Away. Though they weren't sure she was suitable for the part, the producers were so impressed that they made another character for Tasha. The actress played her first TV part for three seasons. For her performance, she was awarded an award called the Logie Award. Isabel was able to move in 2008 Los Angeles. The character that made her famous was her debut as a character in Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (2009). Since then, she has appeared in a variety of US and Australian films, and has won many nominations. - Recently Isabel appeared in the an award-winning film Bosh & Rockit (Ocean Boy) which has fast become an Australian classic and in the soon to be released film Lunacy.
